The MRF24J40MA is +0 dBm PICDEM Z 2.4GHz IEEE 802.15.4 radio transceiver module. The MRF24J40MA has an integrated PCB antenna, matching circuitry, and supports the ZigBee™, MiWi™ and MiWi™ P2P protocols. The module is attached to the carrier board with a 12-pin modular connector allowing the RF Board to be used with the current PICDEM Z development kit or as a production module to wirelessly enable customer designs. The MRF24J40MA module can connect to many popular Microchip PIC® microcontrollers and is an ideal solution for wireless sensor networks, home automation, building automation and consumer applications. The MRF24J40MA module operates in the non-licensed 2.4 GHz frequency band and is FCC, IC and ETSI compliant. The integrated module design frees the integrator from extensive RF and antenna design, and regulatory compliance testing, allowing quicker time to market.
