AT91SAM9X35-EK

The AT91SAM9X35-EK is an evaluation kit that enables the evaluation and code development of applications running on a SAM9X35 device. The SAM9X35 is a highly integrated 400MHz ARM926 embedded MPU, featuring an extensive peripheral set and high bandwidth architecture for industrial applications that require refined user interfaces and high speed communication. The SAM9X35 features a graphics LCD controller with 4 layer overlay and 2D acceleration (picture-in-picture, alpha-blending, scaling, rotation, colour conversion), and a 10bit ADC that supports 4 or 5 wire resistive touch screen panels. Networking/connectivity peripherals include two 2.0A/B compatible controller area network (CAN) interfaces and an IEEE Std 802.3-compatible 10/100Mbps Ethernet MAC. Multiple communication interfaces include a soft modem supporting exclusively the conexant SmartDAA line driver, HS USB device and host, FS USB host, two HS SDCard/SDIO/MMC interfaces, USARTs, SPIs, I2S, TWIs and 10bit ADC.

• FS only (OHCI) host, via standard type A connector
• One Ethernet 10/100 interface with On board MAC controllers and RJ45 sockets
• One stereo CODEC interface with line-in and headphone jacks
• Two CAN interfaces and three serial interfaces (2x USART, 1x UART)
• One telephone/modem interface with RJ11 connector and one TFT-LCD module interface
• One Two Wire Interface (TWI) and one ZigBee extension port

The board must not be subjected to high electrostatic potentials. In risky ESD environments a grounding strap or similar protective device should be worn when handling the board.
