REF-ICC80QSG-84W1-BPA is a flyback-based reference design, scalable from 65W to <gt/>100W and aimed for 12V/18V Li-Ion battery packs. It is based on the quasi-resonant flyback controller ICC80QSG and the renowned 700V CoolMOS™ P7 technology in the small footprint and wave solderable SOT-223 package. The controller burst mode enables low standby <lt/>200mW. The reference board includes a secondary-side auxiliary supply for battery switch and supply of a MCU. Measured efficiency is <gt/>90 percent at 230 VAC input voltage, providing excellent performance versus BOM cost ratio for chargers for consumer appliances.
