MAX206EEAG+ is a ±15kV ESD-protected, 5V RS-232 transceiver. This transceiver with high ±15kV ESD HBM protection and integrated charge pump circuitry for single +5V supply operation. The drivers and receivers of this device meet all EIA/TIA232E and CCITT V.28 specifications at data rates up to 120Kbps when loaded. It is used in applications such as battery-powered equipment, hand-held equipment, and portable diagnostics equipment.

• Transmitter propagation delay is 2µs typical at (RL = 3kohm, CL = 2500pF, all transmitters loaded)

• Operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C
