MAX11129ATI+

The MAX11129ATI+ is a 3Msps, low power, serial 10bit, 16-channel analogue to digital converter (ADC) in 28 pin TQFN package. This device with external reference and industry leading 1.5MHz, full linear bandwidth, high speed and serial output SAR ADC. It includes both internal and external clock modes, device feature scan mode in both internal, external clock modes. The internal clock mode has internal averaging to increase SNR. The external clock mode has SampleSet™ technology, user programmable analogue I/P channel sequencer. The SampleSet™ approach provides greater sequencing flexibility for multichannel applications while alleviating significant microcontroller or DSP (controlling unit) communication overhead. Excellent dynamic performance, low voltage, low power, ease of use & small package makes this IC ideal for portable battery powered, data acquisition and for other applications that demand low power consumption & small space.

• Supply voltage range is 2.35V to 3.6V, consume only 15.2mW at 3Msps, 2µA full shutdown current
• Operating temperature range from -40°C to 125°C, longer battery life for portable applications
• Supports SPI interface, scan modes, internal averaging and internal clock
• 16 entry first-in/first-out (FIFO), flexible input configuration across all channels
• User-defined channel sequence with maximum length of 256, 70dB SINAD at 500KHz input frequency
• Analogue mux with true differential track/hold, 16 single ended, 8 fully differential channel pairs
• 2 software-selectable bipolar input ranges ±VREF+/2 & ±VREF+
• High accuracy, ±1LSB INL, ±1LSB DNL, 15-channel pseudo differential relative to a common input
• External differential reference (1V to VDD), no pipeline delay, no missing codes
• 48MHz, 3-wire SPI/QSPI/MICROWIRE/DSP compatible serial interface
