Product Overview
The LiPo Shim provides a compact power supply solution for mobile Raspberry Pi projects where connection to a permanent power supply isn’t possible or convenient. Built around the TPS61232 step-up boost converter from Texas Instruments, the board offers up to 96% efficiency and includes LED indicators for power on and low battery.
- Compatible with all 40-pin header Raspberry Pi models
- Sits as low as possible on Raspberry Pi board
- 2-Pole JST connector for use with most LiPo/ Li-ion batteries
- Power and low battery LED indicators
- Automatic shutdown at 3V to protect battery
- Can be soldered directly onto GPIO pins or onto supplied female header for non-permanent installation
- Supplies up to 1.5A continuous current
- VBAT+, GND, and EN pins available to break out
