Product Overview
The 701K-G/6A tone and probe kit offers superior tracing for low voltage applications such as telephone, data, and security alarm wiring. Suitable for the internal wiring technician, the kit provides the ability to check voltage on wire pairs as well as generate a tagging tone along the wire which is then picked up by the tracing probe. It features an LED headlight in the tracing probe, a headset jack, short circuit beeper, and external warble-select and promises to provide tracing and identifying single conductors or cables within bundles, either at midpoint or at remote ends.
- Offers the industry standard for tracing voice, data and video wiring
- LED headlight for working in dim lighting conditions
- Three listening modes with adjustable volume: speaker, headset or telephone connection
- Indicates one-or two-line telephone service, voltage/polarity and short circuits/continuity
- Talk battery supply
- Sends two distinct tracing tone signatures using modular plug, RJ11/45 socket adaptor or test leads
- Choice of plastic or metallic probe tip
- Enhanced Voltage protection in all modes
